When contemplating the name Sinful Old Outlaws Road, we drew inspiration from our geographic location. Nestled in the heart of Billy the Kid Country, we are in close proximity to the site where the infamous outlaw, Billy the Kid, achieved his audacious escape from the old Lincoln jail. Our region also claims the distinction of being the original home of Smokey Bear, the national icon who tirelessly advocates for fire prevention with his iconic phrase, "Only you can prevent forest fires."
Having experienced our own devastating loss in the house fire, we cannot emphasize strongly enough the importance of fire safety. It is a lesson engraved deep within our hearts.
